More Hits Please!
I was very pleased with the performance of Fcukers in the past. She sure doesn't act like a 67 ear old gal. They played "Relax" by Frankie Goes to Hollywood" instead. They opened up with about 3 songs that I had never heard of before and then started getting into the hits. The didn't play "The tide is High" which was a real let down. Devo was pretty much the same. They came out with 3 or so songs that I hadn't heard of. They have all these people waiting for months to come see you, sitting there all pumped up and you come out on the stage with some song that totally lets the air out of the balloon and every one sits down. The band has slowed down and seemed almost like they wanted to be somewhere else but I was happy to finally see one of my first favorite bands. In my opinion, if you are not head lining a concert or don't have a full 2+ hours to do your act don't waste time by doing cover songs or new unheard of material. Get to the hits that everyone will enjoy. I have seen Fcukers in the past and was very pleased with the performance. She is still hot and got those 70's dance moves. Start off with a huge one and end with a huge one.
The stage was set up so the bands rarely played to our section even though on paper we had great seats. Sound was fairly good. I didn't think Fcukers was loud enough. Not enough lighting effects. But when we got there, there was too much equipment in our way with Devo and neither band used the full potential of the stage to play for the whole audience. They played to sections 102 & 103.
